Almost Likely to Succeed

Almost Likely to Succeed

I was the guy everybody thought would be successful in life. I was always an honor student in school. My plan was to go to college and become a physical therapist. Even then, I had a good job making a nice salary.

In my first year or two of school I had a 3.9 grade point average. Yet, I wasn’t successful because I was bound up with anger, unforgiveness, alcohol, and drugs. This was the beginning of my downfall.

These things kept me from what I used to think success was. …Every bridge had been burned. My life was ruined… All I wanted was a second chance to do things differently. I had given up and was in a state of despair when I finally called on the Lord.…

In the New Life Dream Center He began to work. The Lord didn’t change my circumstances for the better at first…. Jesus began to change me so that I could change my circumstances…. Today, I am a husband, a father, a teacher, a homeowner, and a man of God.
